Founder & Director
Tammy Pickett
I founded The Uplift Initiative CIC in August 2025 after twelve years working in the NHS. I realised my heart was in my own community — the place I grew up and raised my family. When I looked around, I saw how deeply clothing poverty was affecting women and families, and how little support existed to meet that need with dignity. I knew I wanted to change that. Supporting women and families is what drives me every single day.

Charlotte Gardiner
I’m Charlotte. I’ve run my own cleaning business for over 12 years, and as an active member of the local school’s PTA I’m very familiar with community fundraising. Growing up in a low‑income family and later navigating life as a single mother has given me a deep understanding of the challenges many families face. My lived experience is what drives my passion for our mission and fuels my commitment to helping The Uplift Initiative thrive.
